My Student Government Campaign

In the Spring of 2026, I announced my campaign for student government in collaboration with the Texas Travesty, a satire publication for which I serve as writing editor. During the course of a month, our campaign racked up 200k views across multiple platforms. We drove record readership and social viewership to the Travesty, and learned a lot along the way. I worked with an amazing team of creatives to direct and write our videos and posts. These days, I get recognized as “the student government girl” a few times a week. Though we lost (largely intentionally), I look forward to next year, when I will serve as a mentor and campaign advisor to the next satirical candidates. Kilday-Guess forever!
